Banners at McNeese

Dedicated to lifelong learning and appreciation of cultural diversity through the arts.

Banners at McNeese is very excited to announce a partnership with 88.3 KBYS.FM and the Lake Charles Little Theatre for the Halloween season.

On October 30 and 31 at 6 pm CDT, we invite you to join us for a new adaptation of the classic radio play, "War of the Worlds".

Adapted from the original 1938 script by Orson Welles, which reportedly caused mass hysteria in the streets, this presentation will feature Lake Area actors and celebrity cameos, streaming worldwide from KBYS.FM and on the FM band at 88.3 McNeese Radio.
Listen for cameos from Mayor Nic Hunter, MSU Theatre's Charles McNeely, media personalities Gary Shannon and Heather Partin, Matt Young from the City of Lake Charles, the Little Theatre's Randy Partin, KPLC's Mari Wilson and Amie Herbert, and more...

Rouge et Blanc patrons,

We’ve loved hearing from so many of you lately, and wanted to take a moment to share an update on its status.

Unfortunately, at this time, there are several major roadblocks in responsibly hosting the 2020 event at its scheduled time on October 10, so Team Banners has made the difficult decision to postpone indefinitely.

We look forward to sunnier days filled with wine, gourmet food, and good friends. Until then, stay tuned for some special offers we’re working on for our beloved patrons to help keep those shelves filled.

Dear Banners Family,

We MISS you!

As the world continues to navigate the uncharted territory of life during a global pandemic, here at Banners at McNeese State University we are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that the show will eventually go on safely.

We are 100% committed to preserving the health and well-being of our Banners patrons, volunteers, practitioners and supporters. To this end, we are closely monitoring evolving state guidelines and mandates and are actively developing strategies to ensure that, when programming resumes, we do so as responsibly as humanly possible.

Our goal is for all affected Cultural Season events to be rescheduled, and tickets will be valid for the new event dates.

Banners staff is humbled by the sheer number of you who have decided to forgo refunds for your memberships and/or event ticket purchases.
